Purple/Pink Sparkly eyechip-DONE on Flickr.
So I did a Tutorial for making these sparkly two toned eyechips. Its super simple and everyone can do it. Its up on my flickr and I made it public so that everyone has access to it even though my flickr account is private now. I really hope it helps people explore their creative side a bit and also answers basic questions regarding the painting process of making them.
I used to have a huge box of these when I was little, I guess they were my version of Pokeman? or Baseball cards…I loved them.

so this little girl has been haunting my thoughts for quite sometime and so I decided to sketch her and put her down on paper and maybe then she’ll leave me be. I saw an exhibit with artist Yoshimoto Nara back in 2008 and sadly I forgot the artist name until yesterday when someone on my Tumblr posted a photo of his work. I have had reocurring dreams about this little girl for the last couple of years and I recall only a white dog with her in the dreams but never who the artist was. It was very fustrating..so glad to put a 2 and 2 together. I havent sketched or drawn in a long time it felt really good to sit down with my pastels, color pencils and draw.
This little girl has been haunting my dreams for weeks now and then she disappears. I honestly dont know why it happens this way but its been happening like this for a year or so. The funny thing is that I just realized where I first saw her and why she has been haunting me. I love this artist and am super happy to finally know his name…thank you to whoever on tumblr blogged her photo…you have set me free. I’ve just spent a huge wad of dough on postcards, books, ashtrays, magnets, tshirts and a lamp. LOL
